LSSU's robotics engineering program is truly outstanding. I initially only visited because I saw that there was a FIRST event and scholarship at LSSU while I was touring other colleges in Michigan, and I was entirely welcomed into the Robotics department by the amazing people who were willing to spend multiple hours taking me around the facility and talking to me about robotics. The thing that interests me most about engineering is the aspect of just being able to create something new that doesn't yet exist. I absolutely love making and designing things, and my time doing competitive robotics has been some of the most fun in my life. I'm really motivated by trying to make the world a better place, or at least have a positive impact on as many people's lives as possible.
